Digi XBee Zigbee Solution

XBee and XBee-PRO ZB ZigBee modules provide cost-effective wireless connectivity to devices in ZigBee mesh networks. Utilizing the ZigBee PRO Feature Set, these modules are interoperable with other ZigBee devices, including devices from other vendors†. Programmable versions of the XBee-PRO ZB ZigBee module make customizing ZigBee applications easy, even without wireless design expertise. There are a variety of modules available with a common footprint to enable a global deployment. The network is self- healing and auto – discovery to aid in network stability. There is no configuration or programming required as the products are ready-to-go out of the box; although programmable versions are available, and all units can be configured as router, end-point or co-ordinator.



Digi XBee 868MHz

Digi XBee 868MHz ISM band radio modules are offered in high and low power formats. All modules are designed around the same XBee form factor to assist in easy deployment.

For customers with longer range requirements:

XBee-PRO 868 modules are long-range embedded RF modules providing end-point device connectivity for European applications. Supporting RF line-of-sight distances up to 80 km, these modules are ideal for challenging wireless environments where RF penetration and transmission distance are critical to the application. As a member of the XBee family of RF products, these modules are easy-to-use, share a common hardware footprint, and are fully interoperable with other XBee products utilizing the same technology. XBee products are a part of Digi's unsurpassed range of Drop-in Networking solutions, offering users seamless wireless communication between devices.

For customers with low power needs:

The XBee 868LP is an 868 MHz RF module for Europe. It is a high-performance, low-power module available at an extremely competitive price point. The XBee 868LP RF module can run either a proprietary DigiMesh® or point-to-multipoint networking protocol utilizing a low-power Energy Micro microcontroller and rf transceiver, which offers industry-leading interference blocking. The XBee 868LP operates between 863 MHz and 870 MHz, making it deployable in several regions throughout the world including approved European countries and India by utilizing a software selectable channel masking feature. Pin-compatible SMT form factor for easy deployment. Simplified configuration using X-CTU accelerates time to market.
